2020 has brought no shortage of awards and special recognition for Maxim Lighting; this winning tradition continued even in the final weeks of the year.

Maxim's Conoid collection was recently selected by the prestigious editors of Design Journal Magazine as a "Best of 2020 Product" in the Contemporary Decorative Sconces category.

The Conoid collection is a minimal, yet visually stunning fixture that features an Aluminum cone shade suspended from a die-cast aluminum frame that conforms to the same angle. The LED light source is fully integrated into the fixture for a more streamlined look. This collection fits at home in the most contemporary spaces and is wet rated for use indoors and out.

The 'Best of 2020' designation was announced by Design Journal Magazine, "the international trade resource for interior designers, architects, and facility managers since 1988 and the proud sponsor of the ADEX Awards."

With this designation, the Conoid Collection is now also nominated for the 2021 Award for Design Excellence (ADEX), the largest and most prestigious awards program for product & project design in the A&D industry. This award will be decided in 2021, wherein an anonymous panel of professionals representing a cross-section of the design industry conducts all voting. ADEX 2021 nominees will be judged in January and announced this upcoming April.
